Watch Fireworks at Reiman Gardens on July 3rd

Reiman Gardens will be open on the third of July from 9:00 a.m. to the conclusion of the Ames Jaycees fireworks show in the evening. The Butterfly Wing will maintain its regular hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Throughout the day, guests can walk the grounds, explore the “Some Assembly Required” displays, visit butterflies in the Butterfly Wing, and see the Nature Connects: LEGO® Brick Sculpture Show including 27 huge LEGO brick sculptures made from nearly 500,000 pieces. Later that night, the public can enjoy the fireworks display on the lawn, inside the Gardens.

Guests are invited to bring their coolers and picnic baskets; alcohol and fireworks are not permitted on the Gardens’ grounds. CoHorts members and Iowa State University students are free and regular admission rates apply for the public.
