Ames Municipal Band Second Concert of the Season is June 14

The Ames Municipal Band willpresent their second concert of the season this Thursday, June 14, at 8:00 pm at Bandshell Park. Vocalist Mary Creswell and saxophonist Michael Golemo will be featured. Gerald Guilbeaux, the conductor of the Lafayette (LA) Concert Band, will guest conduct several selections.

The Ballard Municipal Band will perform preshow music beginning at 7:00 pm. Members of the Ames Elks Lodge, with assistance from Boy Scout Troop#196, will present a Flag Day ceremony at 7:45 pm.

You are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket to this free concert.
