The Ames Convention & Visitors Bureau (Bureau) welcomes Kenzie Brennan as the newest member of their visitor services team. Brennan will be responsible for working with Bureau members to promote their businesses and services to individual travelers. She will also help coordinate hospitality services for visitors attending events in Ames and at Iowa State University.
Brennan is an Iowa State University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and speech communication, and a minor journalism and mass communication.
“With Kenzie joining our team, the Bureau will have the opportunity to reach out to a larger number of individual travelers who are coming to Ames and Iowa State University,” said Julie Weeks, director, Ames Convention & Visitors Bureau. “This will allow us to bring more visibility and greater awareness to the products and services offered by our member businesses, which will be beneficial to both the community and its visitors.”
The Ames Convention & Visitors Bureau is a member-based organization, supported by hotel/motel tax. The Bureau builds economic activity in the Ames area by recruiting visitors to the community for conferences, conventions, sports, group tours, special events and leisure trips. Bureau members receive exclusive marketing opportunities, including a listing in the Ames Visitors Guide and on www.visitames.com, professional networking opportunities, promotional exposure with visiting groups and through the Ames/ISU Visitor Information Booth, plus many additional benefits.
